This included $500 from the Term Deposit (reducing the Term Deposit from $5,500 to $5,000) and $248.03 in accrued interest.
Our income from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 came from the following sources:
Vets Membership: $4,770 up on the previous year from $3,160, an increase of $1,610. The increase here is due both to a significant increase in memberships and an increase in the membership fee from $15 to $20 in 2025.
Vets Game Fees: $2,662 down from $3,014 in 2024, a decrease of $352. Central West Vets receives $1.50 per player from each event with $28.50 going to the clubs which includes provision of morning tea and lunch. The exception is Blayney which receives $18.50 for the golf event and provision of morning tea.

Ultimate Golf Challenge
It is also worth acknowledging Manuel’s application for a NSW Vets Grass Roots grant to support country golf clubs. The grant of $750 was received in October 2025 so it is not included in the financials listed above. This grant, along with a further $350 from the Central West Vets, will make up the prize monies for the Ultimate Golf Challenge being played at Wellington, Canowindra and Molong in October/November 2025.
Our increased membership and support for Central West Vets Golf is very encouraging. I encourage all members to venture out and try the various clubs that make up the Central West Vets Golf both for the camaraderie and also to financially support some of our smaller clubs.
CWV Membership for 2026 will remain at $20 and is due anytime from our AGM at Wentworth on 10 November. The biggest day for membership collection however, is at the last event of the year at Bathurst on 15 December. I will set up outside the Pro Shop and look forward to collecting your dues for the next year.
Thank you for supporting CWV Golf and the seven clubs. I look forward to meeting many more of you ‘around the grounds’ in the not too distant future.
