Golf results for Bathurst Dec 19

Central West vets game played at Bathurst December 19, 2022

Hi everyone

Today’s game at Bathurst marked the last game of Central West vets’ for 2022 and what a cracker of a day the 99 vets that showed up for the game enjoyed; it was glorious!!!

The weather was perfect and so was the golf with a third of the field playing close to their handicap or better. Considering Covid, floods and everything else that 2022 threw at us it was a good feeling to be able to do what we like to do best on Mondays and that is to play vets golf.

On to results

B grade players showed everyone how to score well on the golf course by filling in 13 of the top 15 places in today’s results. Best of all was Martin Everett the winner in B grade with an excellent score of 43 points for the round. Second was Brian Little with 42 points. They were not alone in good scores department, three other players had scores of 40 points and six others had 39 points.

In A grade the scores were more subdued with David Parkes taking out first place with a very respectable 39 points. It was a battle for second place with the very consistent Peter Chaffey and Alan Renike both returning scores of 37 points. Alan took out 2nd place on a countback.

In the Ladies’ comp it was Trish Harvey who took out first place with a score of 39 points. Leslie Wright was second with 38 points
