Oberon as beautiful as ever, even in the rain

Central West vets report for game played at Oberon January 8

Hi everyone,

On a previous message I informed you that regardless of the weather predictions the Oberon game was ON and true to their word the game was ON. Unfortunately, the weather predictions were also true to their word and the rain came down in backets for most of the morning.

However, that did not deter 19 brave (crazy) Central West vets from enjoying the first game of vets’ golf for 2024 on the challenging but beautiful Oberon golf course.

On to results

Best on the day was David Nichols from Wentworth with an excellent score of 35 points. Second was Oberon vet David Zhou with 2324 points.

The ball sweep went down to 29 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Darrel Bourke on the 1st and Simon Dundon on the 9th.
